Zig Zag or Chevron Pillow

Happy Monday everyone!  I did some late night sewing last night.  I finished up this pillow.  I wanted a zig zag or (chevron if your a cool kid) since it is so on trend now.  My living room is mostly neutrals, so I wanted to add some pops of color with accent pillows and wall art in a coral and turquoise to go along with the chocolate couch and mostly grey area rug.  This pillow is pretty small, about a foot square and is only 1 of many pillows to come!

I used 3 inch squares to make the half square triangles.
Fabric is Prince Charming by the lovely Tula Pink.
The back is a simple solid Kona Ash.

Link up some pillows you have made recently in the comments!  I’d love to get some more fun ideas for some additional pillows… or of course I can dinker around on Pinterest for hours later today too ;) .

Wow, that is a beautiful pillow. Love the Chevy, and the zig-zag/tilt of the fabric pattern works perfectly. Very lovely to look at.

  2. Love the design of your pillow. It stands out well against the brown sofa.

Here's a link to a pillow I made recently. I had fun and also want to make more.
