How to Hand Embroider a Monogram

I have a YouTube channel that has lots of tutorials.  I just posted one great for Mother’s Day!  How to hand embroider a monogram!  You could add this to an apron (like the one below), tea towel, pillow case or anything else you can think of to make a beautiful, handmade and personalized Mother’s Day present.  Check it out!

So lovely! Thanks for sharing at Things I've Done Thursday!

  2. I do it exactly the same way. (I thought I was the only one using the ol' window technique.)

I like to do a backstitch if I'm writing the person's name and a satin stitch if I'm doing a monogram.

This is a great tutorial! Wonderful job! I lived in Ewa Beach for a few years and now have been in Denver for 5. Your photos bring back good memories! So glad to have found your blog.

  4. Great job! I enjoy embroidery too. Thanks for the tips.
